Our way of life is dependent on communication, which is made possible by the diverse diction we use and the ways we physically and verbally express ourselves to others. For some of us, communicating with others can be difficult, particularly for those who suffer from autism or other forms of mental illnesses. We as a species learn to connect to one other, even while it can be difficult for individuals to do so. Researchers understand more about autism and social signs as there has been more studies to help them with general information. Barbara explains that there are various methods to chat to each other and communicate. People connect and communicate with each other in an infinite number of diverse and endless ways.

Depending on the type of mental illness people struggle with, some may find it impossible to communicate with others in certain scenarios. People that have been diagnosed struggle with mental health issues like dyslexia, autism, Asperger's syndrome, and others. Many people get treated differently because of their inability to communicate well, but we have to be clear and adamant that we can help them. Do some of these people grasp it more quickly than others? Yes, but some people suffer the most and should be recognized just as much as others for their pursuit and ability to overcome insurmountable challenges. For example, dyslexia and autism are difficult conditions to live with, and many people struggle with them. Therefore, we need to examine how much more difficulty these people have than others.

Autism been studied and brought up in relation to communication that's because, depending on when they are diagnosed, individuals with autism or other mental illnesses have difficulty communicating with others because of struggles they have had since birth. The communication level on those diagnosed with autism is usually at a low one as to the developmental compartment of their body when growing up. These people may have difficulties with body language, delayed comprehension of patterns, sensory overload, etc. People with mental illnesses can also learn through other techniques like eye contact, sign language, persuasive speaking, and many more. Every day, as humans, we develop our ability to be more imaginative in order to better understand one another and communicate with others, regardless of their history or health issues. Everything and everyone ought to be treated equally and with the utmost respect.

One of the three mental health conditions I'll be discussing in this blog is ADHD, which is characterized by persistent overstress and overthinking about things that shouldn't be a source of worry or difficulty. ADHD sufferers may experience moments when they become too cautious or second-guess what to say or how to approach someone. People with different mental illnesses struggle because they experience the worst of it, including mixed communication, slower understanding of information due to overthinking and stress, and difficulty understanding what is said to them. For those with ADHD, there isn't much aid available right now, but we can still try to be of assistance. People feel valued, to understand that they are worth it even though communication can be difficult for them, and to learn how to be less stressful can give them the world in the palm of their hands.

Dyslexia is another mental health condition that many people experience. While dyslexia are not as severe as speech impairment, it can nevertheless impact a person's ability to read and comprehend language. It appears as though messages or notes are jumbled because their minds either add more words to sentences that don't need them, replace words, or rearrange sentences and words. While this is not as severe as autism when it comes to interpersonal communication, there are still problems that make it more difficult for some people to understand what is being said or done. Similar to autism, dyslexia are classified according to several levels of severity, and even within those categories, the word dyslexia can be difficult to pronounce at times, particularly for those who live with it.

A heart-wrenching condition that some people experience as a result of having a mental illness is social anxiety disorder. People with Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) sometimes experience anxiety when they are unable to communicate confidently, feel isolated from everyone around them, or are scared to handle situations on their own without the necessary support putting them in a awkward situation. This is something that us as a society have to all step up and help in any way that we can to make them feel as comfortable and feel as understood as they are trying to be. If these people are left alone for an extended period of time, it impacts their communication skills because it is difficult for them to feel both valued and unappreciated. This is another mental health issue that people find extremely difficult to manage, just like the previous ones.

All things considered, people with mental health disorders do have difficulty interacting or communicating with others, but if they work hard enough or get the support, they require they can reach greater heights and they can still pursue their goals plus interacting with others gives them more to live for. These individuals deserve the opportunity to be a part of our society and continue to influence it, just like other well-known individuals with mental health disorders have. We have begun to understand how our groups communicate differently and how we convey our communication ideas differently from one another as a result of these classes and the time we have spent together. Although the topic of each presentation was different and evry group discussed other aspects of mental illnesses, we all talked about the same difficulty that they have with their communication skills and understanding. We began to acquire communication skills and assist one another and recognize one another's humanity in a public speaking course. We should all be patient with one another and know how to support everyone around us even if we aren't in each other's daily lives, because we have respect for one another and if some of us find it difficult to understand others or take longer to understand one another. Everyone can learn to communicate more effectively to better understand themselves as individuals as long as they treat one another with respect and speak with each other. This presentation gave us all the ability and understanding to help those in need and learn more about mental illnesses with their fight with communication.
