Communication and its Importance

Communication as well as connection play an essential part in our world and are what allow people and cultures to relate with one another, whether through speaking or participating in a group. The presentations all discussed and illustrated how communication serves a crucial part both in how we live and the growth of leaders as individuals. Meeting people and even simply traveling to different countries helps people realize how important communication and culture play in everyday life.

A lot of things were written and explained well, and it shows signs of what strong communicators we have in this class and to be able to share their input and potential is truly breath-taking. Along with the summaries of what constitutes groups, presentations were displayed to provide greater detail of what groups are and how we all communicate with one another. It provides an appropriate overview of how people will adjust into various cultures, social groups, and societies. It may inspire a greater desire for people to come together and understand one another in order to build a paradise of harmony, which is something that many people try to fulfill and can only dream about, but all of us as one we too can change the world for the better.

There are so many languages, races, views that us as people will use our communication towards its fullest capacity to extend our knowledge and our customs to everyone. Through all of those differences, we are given access to international communication and develop an understanding of how distinct people are from one another. Based on our geographic location as a species, every culture has its own distinctive ideas on a variety of global queries, including those on religious beliefs, the architectural style of residences and structures, and much more. Humanity and its societies have evolved over time and learned to communicate with one another, despite the heartbreaking disputes that still exist in the world today.

Understanding how different cultures are portrayed in their communication styles is largely dependent on understanding the interaction between cultures. It demonstrates how diverse the world has become in customs, cuisines, and practices across the world. It is, in general, a significant component in comprehending cultures other than our own. The way that various cultures and communities pronounce and refer to things is a significant characteristic. As an example, someone from group 1 presented a representation of food and highlighted how the names vary between the USA and the UK. Seeing how varied each of us are from one another is quite fascinating, and the presentation did a great job of explaining it.

We are separated into many groups based on how we interact and cultural identities, all of which fit into similar classifications but respond distinctively from one another. The majority of these differences are caused by issues that need to be resolved, to which various parties have different answers based on opinion's sake and shown through personal experiences. Family drama, business turmoil, political standpoint, religious belief is just a few of reasons that we are still divided no matter how much communication and help we try to assist everyone has a different way to go about things. While not everyone will have the exact same answers prepared, it's still important make an effort to try and resolve the issue.

Teams can be divided into a wide range of classifications, including virtual, social, familial, and interest groups. Each of them behaves differently, yet they can all be extremely similar. Having established all these groups, they are able to determine the identities of the people and the categories into which they are divided.

As technology has developed over time, humankind has discovered more means of international communication. Additionally, browsers like Zoom and Instagram have existed as social platforms for people to meet and converse online, and virtual technologies like computers and phones have been created. The prospect of meeting individuals from all over the world while at home or in another location inspires optimism for cross-cultural understanding and the development of peaceful relationships between people. People have met a lot of interesting people online, but there have also been problems with people feeling alienated from one another because they go too far on the internet.

When these various cultures and groups join together, a leader is created, and most people have to follow them and understand why they are leaders. Within a culture or organization, most leaders have a structure and concept that most members may adhere to, but others may disagree and have different words. Being a leader has its advantages and disadvantages; they are the primary representation of what makes a group unique and what brings them together in the first place. These people are deserving and exhibit honor by stepping forward in groups. These leaders are also accountable for overseeing interpersonal conflicts and determining the proper behavior for a certain group of people.

All of the presentations did a great job explaining and expressing the various ways of communication. The leaders and the students overall were very thorough in their description for this project and their depiction of putting themselves in the scenario to understand better. The leaders also were very open in trying to help out his/her group in every way they could. All 3 presentations show all of the different views and types of communication styles that are portrayed throughout the common world. While we were doing this project, we also grew our own knowledge on this topic because we worked together in groups, and we have first-hand experience in what we were presenting.

From my personal experience, I try push anyone who has a hard time with speaking up or showing their true self when being around others because we are all so unique and I know that they have so much to offer. I know that it's tough sometimes to communicate with others as we become shy, afraid, with thoughts of negativity which shows that we are passionate and careful as to what we say to one another. These types of projects help us as we gain more knowledge on a topic while actually going through play-by-play motions and displaying our learning ability by describing the topic to the fullest extent.
